Description

Mayorga's best selling Organic Cubano Roast

Cubano Roast is a dark roast with a full-bodied cup, featuring hints of vanilla, sweet syrupy smokiness, and a smooth, bold finish.

Tasting Notes: Bold / Smooth / Sweet

Our signature Latin slow-roasting process recreates the rich character of Cuban roast coffee using organic coffees from our regenerative partner farms in Peru, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The result is a dark roast with bold flavor, natural sweetness, and a smooth finish that has made Cubano Roast our best-selling blend.

Meet the Farmers Behind Cubano Roast

Churupampa

Peru

When a life-changing medical condition forced Eber Tocto to return home, he found new purpose in the coffee his family had grown for generations. In 2014, that vision became Finca Churupampa. Today, 393 producers work together to grow exceptional organic coffee while sharing techniques that improve harvests and create new opportunities for farming families across the region.

Capucas

Honduras

Founded in 1999 by José Omar Rodríguez Interiano, Capucas began with 54 producers working together to create better opportunities for their community. What started in José's home without electricity, warehouses, or drying patios has grown into a thriving cooperative of more than 800 producers. Through women-led initiatives, investments in processing and education, and innovative solutions to challenges like coffee leaf rust, Capucas continues to strengthen both its coffee and its community.

25 de Marzo

Nicaragua

Founded in 2008 by 32 coffee producers, the 25 de Marzo Cooperative was created to build a more honest future for Nicaragua's small coffee farmers. What began as a shared vision has grown into a cooperative of over 100 organic producers. Their collection center, opened in 2022, represents years of hard work and a lasting commitment to independence, quality, and community.
