Yes, our facility is free of all major US and Canadian allergens, including eggs, wheats, milk, soy, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, mustard, sulfides and sesame.
The longer coffee is roasted the more of its natural oils are expressed to the surface of the bean. Light and medium roast coffees will not have a distinctly oily sheen that you will find on dark and very dark roast coffees.
Yes, we are happy to grind your coffee for you. Just select the grind size you want on the product page. The grind size you select should correspond to the brewing method you are using. Generally you would select Coarse for French Press, Medium (Drip) for automatic coffee brewers, and fine for stove top espresso makers (moka pots).

We currently offer free shipping via FedEx Ground or USPS on orders over $45. This offer is only available for addresses within the continental U.S. and may take up to 1-14 business days to arrive depending on location. Orders to APO/FPO addresses are sent via USPS.
Addresses to outlying US states and territories are not eligible for free (or flat rate) shipping (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Palau, Marshall Islands).
Please order by 12/14 for out-of-town delivery or 12/19 for local delivery to give our team time to process and pack your coffee for on-time arrival. Military PPO/APO times may vary.

Our coffee is roasted at our state of the art facility in Rockville, MD.
We roast daily depending on what our projected demand for the week is.
This refers to how long a coffee has been roasted and color level that is achieved through the roasting process. Roast profiles are typically Light, Medium, Dark and Very Dark.
We are a Latino and Immigrant owned company. Our staff is made up of about 85% either immigrants or first generation US born children of immigrants. If we are going to change the systemic poverty created by old world trading and ideology we are going to begin in a place where we have roots, speak the language and know firsthand the trials and tribulations of the people in those areas, because that is where we come from.

Yes, all of our coffee and the farms that we work with are certified organic by major international certifying bodies. There is a rigorous auditing and inspection process to maintain organic certification at both the farm and facility level. We build direct relationships with our farmers and routinely visit and touch bases with them throughout the year.
Yes, all of our coffees are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
The FairTrade brand is good for companies that sell commercial grade coffee and are not able to engage directly with producers themselves. We do not participate in this program as we’ve been developing a direct network of producers and cooperatives for over 25 years with whom we work directly and pay higher than fair trade prices. Our direct relationships also allows us to provide even more support than what is offered through the FairTrade program such as helping with financing, organic certifications and engaging agronomists to work with our producers.

Our general recommendation is 15g of coffee for every 8 Oz of water. If you don’t have a scale you can use 2 TBSP of coffee per 8 oz of water.
Coffee is a seasonal product so we will on occasion run out of a particular varietal between harvests. When this happens we will keep you updated through our newsletter so be sure to subscribe. Occasionally we may retire some of our offerings to make room for new products. We recently discontinued Roastmaster’s Blend, Mocha Java, and Heavenly Hazelnut.
Yes, we are happy to grind your coffee for you. Just select the grind size you want on the product page. The grind size you select should correspond to the brewing method you are using. We use the Swiss Water Process for our decaf offerings. This process uses water, temperature, and time to gently remove caffeine, while preserving all the coffee’s original characteristics. Learn more here: Swiss Water Process

To cancel a subscription, please proceed with the following steps:
- Log in to your Mayorga Account on the top right hand corner of the website. You will be automatically redirected to your Account Summary and Subscription Portal
- Scroll down to "Your Subscriptions"
- Click "Manage Subscriptions"
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
You will receive a confirmation email with your cancelation details.
- Please consider this email as confirmation that your subscription has been successfully canceled.
- Cancellations must be done via the account portal. An email/voicemail requesting a cancelation of a subscription does not guarantee it will be canceled immediately. Please note that canceling a subscription will not cancel an order that has already been confirmed/processed.
- If you do not see your subscription as canceled on your portal and have not received a cancelation email -- your subscription has not been successfully canceled.

We are happy to guide you through the process of placing an order but we are not able to accept payment information over the phone or by email.
Orders are processed and shipped out within two business days of being placed. Our team does not work on weekends or holidays.
Occasionally carriers will mark packages as delivered before they are actually dropped off. If you don’t see your order 24 hours after it was marked as delivered, please reach out to us.

At Mayorga Coffee, we’re committed to source and roast the best Specialty Grade coffee for you and ensure you always experience a wonderful purchasing experience. We’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas should you ever not be fully satisfied with your order experience.
Specialty Grade Coffee, Chia & Black Beans
Since our organic Specialty Grade coffee, organic Chia seeds, and organic Black Beans are perishable products, we cannot accept returns on these products. We roast our organic Specialty Grade coffee in small batches according to the order demand, to ensure you always receive the freshest roast possible.
We do understand that things may go wrong during the ordering or delivery process. If your order underwent a shipping error or you have concerns about the quality of the product you received, please contact our Customer Experience team at info@mayorgacoffee.com within 30 days of your purchase date.

Merchandise & Apparel
We carefully select and design our merch and equipment offers and want to ensure that you love them as much as we do. Should you ever be unsatisfied with your purchase of merchandise or brewing equipment, contact us with your name and the order number within 30 days of the purchase date. We will refund your merchandise products. We offer to exchange un-opened merchandise products for free, if you want to return your product, a $9 shipping and processing fee will apply.
Sets & Gift Packs
We offer several of our organic Specialty Grade coffees and merchandise products in bundles or gift sets – at a reduced price so you can find the perfect gift or treat yourself. If you purchased a bundle to include merchandise, and you are unsatisfied with the merchandise, we are able to accommodate a return and refund.
Once we receive the merchandise and confirm its original condition, we will issue a refund. Please note that you will be charged each item’s full price when returning an item you purchased at a reduced bundle price. In addition, a $9 shipping and processing fee applies for your merchandise return.
Gift Cards
Our Gift Cards are automatically emailed as soon as your payment goes through. Hence we cannot refund Gift Cards.
Incorrect Address and Items
Please ensure to double check your delivery address when entering it in the checkout and update it accordingly before your subscription renews. If your order was delivered to the wrong address due to incorrect address information provided in our check-out, we cannot reroute your package.
One-time orders
If you notice an incorrect address or item in your order, the fastest option is to cancel it immediately on the confirmation page on our website or through the cancellation link in your confirmation email.
Orders can be canceled until they are fulfilled and packed for shipping. Once an order is placed, Mayorga Coffee cannot make edits without canceling the order.
Subscription orders
We’re so happy to count you to our subscription customers! In each subscription cycle, you will receive a reminder email 5 days before your subscription order is processed to give you the opportunity to edit your order, change your delivery address or adjust your subscription frequency. Please make any necessary changes as soon as you receive our email reminder to ensure the information is provided before your order is processed, fulfilled, and packed for shipping.
You will also have the option to immediately cancel your order in the confirmation email, up until the time it is fulfilled and packed for shipping. Once the order is processed, we cannot make any changes to your order.
If you have any questions or need assistance with your subscription, contact our Customer Experience team via info@mayorgacoffee.com. If you do not see your subscription renewal reminder email, please double-check your spam folder.
Misdelivery
If your package is misdelivered by the shipping carrier or has been lost in transit, please contact us at info@mayorgacoffee.com with your order number and we’ll be happy to look into it for you with our shipping carriers.
Note: If your order has an active tracking number and it is in the “Label Created” status, this means your package is in the process of being handed to our shipping carriers. At this stage, cancellations are no longer possible. However, if you experience delivery issues, please contact us for assistance.

Expedited shipping options are available for additional fees and can be selected during checkout. Free shipping rates do not apply to expedited services. Please note that when purchasing expedited shipping that applies to the shipping speed estimated by the carrier and does not refer to expediting the fulfillment process. All orders are processed and shipped within two business days regardless of the shipping option selected.

Your VIP tier is determined by the amount you spend in a calendar year
Silver Member, you must spend $1>
Gold Member , you must spend $500
Platinum Member , you must spend $1,000
Once you qualify, you will instantly move up and have access to that tier's perks through the rest of the current calendar year as well as the following calendar year. As you move up in the VIP Tiers, you will retain all benefits from your previous tier.
When your total spend crosses a tier threshold you will receive an email welcoming you into the new tier.
You must continue to spend to remain in your tier. Whatever tier you achieve in a calendar year (ex. Jan 1, 2024 –Dec 31, 2024), you keep for the following year.
For instance, if you spend $1,000 dollars in 2024 and achieve Platinum Member status, you stay in that tier through 2025. At the start of 2025, you will keep your earned tier and perks, however, your spending towards that tier's threshold resets to $0 and you must spend the designated tier amount (in this case, $1,000) to ensure that you remain in that tier for the following year (2026).
Double-check you were signed into your rewards account and didn’t accidentally check out using an incorrectly spelled email address. You must be logged in when making purchases to earn points. If you have done this in error, contact us at info@mayorgacoffee.com to help apply your points to your account. You also won’t receive points if you return your purchase or your purchase is canceled for any reason. Please note that any points you earn on a purchase you later return will be deducted from your point balance.
