Description

Our Most Daring Signature Blend

Muy Macho is an extra-dark roast with a full-bodied cup, featuring rich dark chocolate notes and a smooth, powerful finish.

Tasting Notes: Smooth / Dark Chocolate / Bold

Inspired by the fictional lucha libre character our founder Martin Mayorga created as a child, Muy Macho is our boldest blend. Our signature Latin slow-roasting process brings together organic coffees from our regenerative partner farms in Peru and Honduras to create a deep, dark profile built for bold coffee drinkers who love their coffee as daring as they are.

Our coffee is third-party tested for mold and mycotoxins. Find the latest report for Muy Macho here.

Meet the Farmers Behind Muy Macho

Capucas

Honduras

Founded in 1999 by José Omar Rodríguez Interiano, Capucas began with 54 producers working together to create better opportunities for their community. What started in José's home without electricity, warehouses, or drying patios has grown into a thriving cooperative of more than 800 producers. Through women-led initiatives, investments in processing and education, and innovative solutions to challenges like coffee leaf rust, Capucas continues to strengthen both its coffee and its community.

Churupampa

Peru

When a life-changing medical condition forced Eber Tocto to return home, he found new purpose in the coffee his family had grown for generations. In 2014, that vision became Finca Churupampa. Today, 393 producers work together to grow exceptional organic coffee while sharing techniques that improve harvests and create new opportunities for farming families across the region.
