Founded in 1974, the Cooperativa Agrícola Cafetalera San Juan unites the heritage and expertise of three organic coffee farming generations. Situated in the high altitude region around La Paz, the co-op is made up of 35 small, individual family farms.

Since the turn of the millennium, the co-op has been a pioneer in exporting certified organic coffee, a testament to their continued commitment to sustainable practices.

The dry climate and high-altitude region of El Alto, in La Paz, situated 5 to 6 hours from Caranavi, serve as the ideal environment for storing the dry parchment coffee before the dry milling process and subsequent shipment to ports where the beans are exported to our roastery.
