Cubano Roast

I've tried a lot of espresso beans for my coffee trailer, and Mayorga's Cubano Roast has been my favorite by far. It produces a bold, rich, full-bodied espresso with a smooth finish that holds up beautifully in milk based drinks without losing its flavor. My customers love the strong coffee taste, and it has become the signature espresso we serve. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, flavorful roast for espresso.

Cubano Roast is my favorite coffee. Bold, but not bitter. I drink it black. My wife uses cream. Mayorga's fulfillment is always timely. A great experience with a great coffee.

This has been my favorite coffee few a few years now. Great flavor. Smooth enough to drink it black, but I like to top it off with a spoon of honey.

My all time favorite!!

This coffee is good…smooth and not bitter. The beans are not so oily that I will have a problem with my coffee maker getting sticky residue. My favorite coffee is still Lavazza, but this dark Cuban Roast mixed with the medium roast Lavazza is better than either one.

We've been drinking the Mayorga Cubano Dark Roast for about a year now and it is consistently satisfying and delicious. We love that it is organically grown and sourced directly from those who grow the beans with fewer "middles".

We've been buying this coffee for almost 5 years now. Every person that we brew coffee for also falls in love with it. It's the most perfect coffee we've found, it has actually made me quite the "coffee snob" because nothing else has compared. What can I say I like what I like and if that is drinking a fresh brewed cup of this Mayorga blend at home, I'll take it!

I love this coffee but can't get it at Whole Foods Rockville anymore. They seem to have stopped stocking it. Is it possible to by it from you in 1 lb bags? It take me a long time to use up 2 pounds!

Perhaps a dark roast would be more to my taste. I'm not getting the full coffee flavor I am used to with other roasters.

It's Cuban or Venezuelan coffee. It's like coffee like home.

It’s good, but not as good as when i ordered similar Mayorga blends on Amazon in 2 lb bags. Maybe this order was not as fresh in 5 lb bag, (it was slightly oily), or maybe I prefer the muy macho blend over cubano roast? (though i think I tried both previously and loved them both).

Great Coffee!!!

not bad but there other Mayorga roasts I like better. I use this as an interesting blend to their other roasts, usually 50-50 mix, or bit less Cubano than the other bean.

I purchased 3 2lb bags of different coffees to give this company a try. I wish I had my $100+ back as they all are awful. When you open a bag and get nearly no scent that is the first bad sign. I have a 12k+ coffee/espresso setup as I have been into coffee for several decades and I typically buy from roasters with a reputation of having high quality coffee and roasting expertise. I went out on a limb to try this coffee with its attractive price, I won't make that mistake again.
