Best coffee ever!

This is my favorite dark roast coffee. I found it about 10 years ago. I buy other coffees. Even the excellent ones come and go with roasting companies, their techniques, grower practices, good weather. Cubano Roast hasn't varied. It has rich flavor, a great mouth feel if you don't water it down, and it's almost sweet: NEVER bitter (at least not at drip coffee maker temperatures). I drink other coffee partly to remember how good this one is.

After receiving some recommendations directly from Mayorga on beans to use in my DeLonghi Magnifica Evo, I tried all 3 recs and landed on Nicaragua 25 de Marzo. I was looking for a robust yet non-oily bean and this one is perfect! I love the balance between the strong taste of the espresso with the smooth caramel undertone. It is not acidic, not bitter, it is perfect. I have now subscribed to this whole bean so that I am never without!

Nice strong (but not too strong) brew - comparablw strength to the espresso beans.

I like this coffee better hot than iced. It's a nice change up from my regular varieties - works well with a bit of sweet cream oatmilk creamer.
