Our Decaf Honduras Capucas is a single-origin medium roast with a smooth, medium-bodied cup, low to medium acidity, and a naturally sweet finish.

Tasting Notes: Maple / Chocolate / Plum

Sourced from the Capucas Cooperative, our partner in Honduras for more than 12 years, this organically grown Specialty Grade coffee is produced using regenerative farming practices that strengthen both the land and the local community. It's decaffeinated using the chemical-free Swiss Water® Process, which gently removes caffeine with only water and heat while preserving the coffee's natural sweetness and layered flavor.

Founded in 1999 by José Omar Rodríguez Interiano, Capucas began with 54 producers working together to create better opportunities for their community. What started in José's home without electricity, warehouses, or drying patios has grown into a thriving cooperative of more than 800 producers. Through women-led initiatives, investments in processing and education, and innovative solutions to challenges like coffee leaf rust, Capucas continues to strengthen both its coffee and its community.

This is definitely in my top two decaf coffee I have ever tasted out of 8 tried already. It is so fresh, the tasting notes are as described and has uniform beans size and roast level. I smile in every sip espresso or cortado. I used to try the cortado with a piece of dark chocolate or something a bit sweet but this coffee has sweet notes and I prefer to enjoy with anything else.
