Meet the Farmers Behind Artesano Blend

Finca La Hermosa

Guatemala

What started as Max and Claudia's vision for a more sustainable future has grown into the Acatenango Valley's first coffee cooperative. After transforming an abandoned farm into a thriving organic operation, they brought neighboring producers together to improve quality, access new markets, and earn better prices. Today, La Hermosa unites 54 small-scale producers while balancing exceptional coffee with long-term care for the surrounding landscape.

Capucas

Honduras

Founded in 1999 by José Omar Rodríguez Interiano, Capucas began with 54 producers working together to create better opportunities for their community. What started in José's home without electricity, warehouses, or drying patios has grown into a thriving cooperative of more than 800 producers. Through women-led initiatives, investments in processing and education, and innovative solutions to challenges like coffee leaf rust, Capucas continues to strengthen both its coffee and its community.
